STORY
Haruto is a young adult who spends his days working in the lost and found office of his local train station. One day, news arrives that his mother, who abandoned him as a child, has died at Hoshigaoka Wonderland, an amusement park Haruto had once visited with her. She had supposedly committed suicide by leaping off the Ferris wheel. But Haruto harbors suspicions about the manner of her demise. He then meets Nanami, the daughter of his mother’s “other” family, and through their interactions, discovers his memories to be widely different from the truth. The death of his mother and the circumstances around it begin to unlock repressed memories of the past. Against the town’s symbol, Wonderland, a mystery-laden human drama unfolds, fusing past and present as it depicts the maturation of a troubled son, Haruto, and the plight of family members left behind, all struggling to cope with memories lost and found.
