Family story filled with Mentaiko (cod roe), laughter and tears!
“Fukunoya" is a grocery store located in a corner of Nakasu, downtown Fukuoka. The owner, Toshiyuki, his wife, Chiyoko, and their employees are busy working the day.
Then, a takoyaki (octopus dumpling) stall appears in front of the store. Against everyone’s expectation, Toshiyuki and Chiyoko welcome the stall owner, Tsuru, with a smile because they believe that there is no evil person who loves my Mentaiko.
Everyone's kindness and compassion intersect in "Fukunoya," a place overflowing with love. How to figure out the trouble of Tsuru, what is Matsuo and Tsuru's secret, what will happen to their employees’ love, and what will Toshiyuki do for Chieko's birthday?
The destination of Fukunoya family’s thoughts and feelings are crossing.
