Director Tatsushi Omori brings a Shuichi Yoshida novel to the screen for the first time since Moscow International Film Festival Special Jury Prize winner The Ravine of Goodbye.
Based on a story by Shuichi Yoshida, whose works from which films have been made include Parade (10), Villain (10), and Ikari (16).
Script and direction are by Tatsushi Omori, whose The Whispering of the Gods (05) was a Locarno International Film Festival entry; A Crowd of Three (10), chosen for the Berlinale; and The Ravine of Goodbye (13), from a Yoshida story, and which won the Special Jury Prize at the Moscow International Film Festival.

In the role of a young detective investigating a murder in a nursing home is Sota Fukushi, star of Strobe Edge (2015) and Bleach (2018). Marika Matsumoto plays a caregiver upon whom suspicion falls. But while they are detective and suspect, they are also both swept away in a passionate but immoral relationship.
